Energy Conservation Representative

Utility Saving Solutions headquartered in metro-Atlanta, GA is looking for Energy Conservation Representatives to inform commercial customers of emerging technology that can have a substantial impact to their bottom line. This individual will earn generous uncapped commissions and be a part of the Energy Revolution by acting as the direct point of contact with a customer and be in charge of ensuring a customer's needs and expectations are met. Our Energy Conservation Representative will be knowledgeable of our products and guide customers through the purchase process efficiently and satisfactorily.

About the Role

The new Inflation Reduction Act will allow our business and Sales Professionals to see rapid growth. We need self-starting independent contractor sales professionals. The position is commission based with uncapped earnings.

Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research customer’s commercial energy consumption and propose solutions

  • Requests utility bills from customer to initiate interest in closing sales

  • Perform on-site Energy Assessments to optimize current resiliency plan and make recommendations for the customer based on guidance from our partners

  • Adjusts sales tactics based on new insights in the field

  • Answers questions and resolves customer complaints and queries

  • Communicates with management on status of deals

  • Maintains monthly minimum closing goals

  • Manage Leads and Nurture Customers in MGS Access Portal Weekly and share progress with Referral Sources

  • Present preliminary proposal to customer and inform them of rebates and incentives on offer

  • Prepare final proposal to customer

Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Bachelor's degree (ideal but not required)

  • 1+ year of sales experience

  • Tech savvy with MS Office familiarity

  • Existing database of B2B Leads (preferred)

  • Customer service and people skills

  • Phone, email, and chat communication skills

  • Ability to work in-office or remotely

  • Prospecting skills

  • Territory management aptitude

  • Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums

  • Patience to deal with customer issues and calls that do not end in a sale

  • Motivation skills and a positive attitude

  • Ability to learn technology and apply it to role
